I was goofing on the web recently and came upon your "Best Of" compilation CD. During the mid to late 60's, I think I was one of the only Southern California "suburb kids" who regularly listened to you guys. "Zabadak" introduced me to the great music, then I found more material. Anyway, just wanted to drop you a note and express my thanks for the great tunes while growing up.
My college-age daughter Caitlin is a real 60's & 70's UK music aficionado so I sent the CD to her and she loves it. Caitlin claims she's heard "Zabadak" before I sent up the music CD to UC Berkeley. Could be possible. After all, 'tis Berkeley and anything goes -- and it usually does. So now, Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich blares from the chemistry lab at University of California (UC) Berkeley ! In any event, all her roomies are rocking out to it. Gotta love timeless music and its affect on music lovers. I thought that was cool to find out.

First of all I'd like to say "Thanks a lot" to Dave, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich for the wonderful music they have been giving us all.
I was at the concert in Hamburg-Niendorf on 24th February. It was great as usual. And I was the one Dave asked to come up on the stage and sing with or rather without him. Just like most true, old fans I can normally sing along with all their songs. But I was so confused I couldn't say a single word let alone sing ! But another lady in the audience later told me she absolutely envied me at that moment ! Thanks to Dave for that enjoyable evening !
When I had seen the band in Bad Segeberg on May 13th, 2006 I was thrilled to bits by the fact that they did not just play a medley of some of their hits, but played them full length. They were absolutely great !

Dagmar - Germany, March 2007

We are hoping to see you at the Theatre Royal in Lincoln on Saturday 3rd March. I met my wife Ann on Fri 10th March 1966 at the Mecca in Grimsby and your band - Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich were playing. You did play a few months earlier as Dave Dee and the Bostons. Hoping for a good night

Roy Harris - UK, January 2007

I saw DD,D,B,M&T in Oldenburg on September 17th ! Before that I hardly knew them (I am only vintage 1983), but since that concert I am an absolute FAN !

Maren - Germany, September 2006

Spent my honeymoon in the same hotel as DDDBMT - Dave was there, Winton hotel in Bayeswater. They were in London for filming of Top Of The Pops march 1968. Left my new husband nattering to them including The Paper Dolls, The Fortunes and others. Still talk about it even today.

Lynn Benson - UK, September 2006

My wife and myself have seen you perform so many times and it just keeps getting better. We last saw you in Bristol @ SS60s show and the feature with Stairway To Heaven and Pinball Wizard just blew us all away ! The next time we see you will be at Brean in November PLEASE PLEASE include it again. Finally like to say a Massive thank you for all you talented boys for the contribution to gods greatest era of 60s music.

Mike King - Swindon UK, July 2006

photo DDDBMT I was a teenager in the 1960s listening to all the great music that was around then. Two of my favourite groups from that era were, and indeed still are, the Hollies and Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich and I still go to see them whenever I can.
In March this year, I saw Dave Dee and Co at the Cambridge Corn Exchange as part of the Solid Silver Sixties Show and they were definitely the stars of the evening. The attached photo is from that concert. I was lucky enough to be on the front row!
Then at the end of May, we visited Berlin for the Waldbuhne show where both The Hollies and DDDBMT were on the same bill. A great night, apart from the weather. We got absolutely drenched that evening but it was well worth it just to see my two favourite bands follow one other on stage, some 40 years on from when I first saw them.
