Itīs
been another great and very successful Solid Silver 60's Tour 2006. Itīs been
very gruelling travelling wise as you can see from the concert dates - we
started 26th Feb to May 7th doing shows in England, Scotland and Wales.
One of the Boys in the Band mentioned going from show to show we had roughly
done 10,000 Miles burning rubber.
So to show our Appreciation and Gratitude we would like to say a BIG THANK YOU.
To
Flying Music for giving
us the Dozys the Opportunity to perform in some of the great Theatres in
the UK, and to see the joy on peoples faces when they come to these Solid Silver
60's Shows.
I remember Dave asking our Managers back in the 60's 'how long do we have in
this line of business ?', their reply '2 to 5 years' - here we are 40 years down
the line {Say no more}. Thank you Derek Nicol [Producer] and the backroom staff
for Flying Music.
Also to the Musicians and Artists who made this tour such a success and have
truly become great friends with the Dozys {I hope}.

We
would also like to say a big THANKYOU to the backline crew, these are the
Guys who keep the show on the road and work unbelieveably hard, especially when
doing double shows and having to drive through the night on little if any sleep
at all for a 4pm Show. WELL DONE GUYS.
We think they deserve a Mention....
